Insanity

Such a brilliant, beautiful child
a little girl,
sucked into a place you can't understand;
pulled down by darkness,
snatched by the evil,
a little doll, so broken,
beaten, bruised, battered.
A lonesome little toy,
whom no one wants to play with.
Whispers, mutters,
noise surrounding you -
mumbles and grumbles
you can't possibly comprehend,
things confusing you,
spinning your pretty little head,
wringing your golden curls dry.
When will this insanity end?
